BLC Cooma March 2017

A great day for a BLC as the weather was fine all the way.

We all met at outside the Delta Force Paintball compound in plenty of time to start the trip to Cooma at 8.30am.

There were five vehicles in total the convoy including two Toyotas, an FJ driven by Sue Alexander and a 4Runner driven by Tim Darke, a Holden Jackaroo driven by David and Ann Darke, a Landrover Discovery driven by Roger and Ann Quarterman, and a Nissan Patrol driven by the trip leaders, Kaylene and Paul Koppe. John and Maria Raineri were unable to join us on the convoy and joined us at the café in Cooma.

The convoy arrived in Cooma at 9.30am, parked our vehicles and made our way to PD Murphys were we well looked after and served our meals and drinks promply. The food was good, the company was great.

After consuming breakfast, or morning tea for some, we all said our farewells and head off to check out the markets and shops around Cooma or head back to Canberra to pack for the next trip.

Thank you to everyone who attended.

If you have a favourite café within an one and a half hours of Canberra, please let me know so that it can be included in future BLC trips.

Social Secretary
